About the Duck

Welcome!

We are glad to have you as our guests. If we have met before we are certainly glad to see you again. If this is your first visit, we hope that it will be enjoyable and that you will stay with us again. To make your stay a happy one please read the following information.


 

Directions:

From I-25 at exit 141, 12 miles West on Highway 24

Make U-Turn on Highway 24 at Green Mountain Falls exit

Drive East 350 yards

Full Hook-Ups:

We offer full hook-up sites here at the LoneDuck. They have electric, water, and sewer. Each site has some form of shade, trees and grass. Very comfortably sized site.

Electric/Water:

 

There are electric/water hook-ups located through out the park. All electric/water sites feature grass, trees, and shrubbery. These sites are located all over the LoneDuck.
 

Electric:

Here at the LoneDuck we have electric only sites. Some of these sites are located right next to our mountain streams.


 

Tenting:

The LoneDuck has no hook-up tent sites. All no hook-up sites either have grass or trees or shrubbery. These sites are also located throughout the LoneDuck.

Fishing:

There is fishing available at the LoneDuck campground. Our pond is spring fed and stocked with rainbow trout. Permits can be purchased in the office and the fishing hours are dawn to dusk.

 

Swimming:

The LoneDuck Pool is open for swimming from 9:30 am to 9:00 pm everyday. Our pool is gas heated.

Internet:

If you brought your Laptop, the LoneDuck has high speed

internet access; both wired and wireless. The cost is $3.00 for hour or $5.00 for a 24 hour period. Please check into the front office to setup your internet exploration.

We also provide RJ-45 connectors so you can hook up to our tables located in the office.


Camper Cabins:

The LoneDuck has Camper Cabins that have a full bed and bunk bed. It is a one room cabin with an electric outlet and

 inside/outside lights. Sheets and linens must be provided by the customer and we do not allow pets in the cabins unless kept in a kennel.

All cabins privately face the pond and have mountain views.
